Home My WebLink About2009-146 Project : Sector 3 Beach Restoration Project Establishment of the Erosion Control Line Survey WORK ORDER NO . 5 ( Public Works/Coastal Engineering ) TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT ANNUAL SURVEYING and MAPPING/GIS SERVICES WITH Morgan and Eklund , Inc. In accordance with Contract No . 0725 2007-2009 This Work Order No . 5 is in accordance with the existing AGREEMENT dated November 6'h , 2007 between Morgan and Eklund , Inc . (SURVEYOR) and Indian River County (COUNTY) . This Work Order No . 5 amends the Agreement as follows : SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS This Work Order No . 5 is for the SURVEYOR to perform Surveying and Mapping Services necessary to establish an Erosion Control Line within the Sector 3 Beach Restoration Project area ( FDEP Reference Monuments R-20 to R-55 , 6 . 6 miles) . Services shall include field and office Surveying and Mapping services in connection with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection ( FDEP) final acceptance of the ECL survey . Limits include all properties associated with the project area . SECTION II = SCOPE OF SERVICES As agreed upon between Morgan and Eklund , Inc. and Indian River County , the SURVEYOR shall provide Professional Land Surveying services (Services) as follows : (A , ) Project planning , coordinate with FDEP ; ( B. ) Field survey (trace Mean High Water Line) ; (C . ) Obtain and plot property owners along proposed Erosion Control Line on FDEP aerial images ; ( D . ) Plot Mean High Water Line and prepare legal description , cover sheet, and signature blocks ; and ( E . ) Coordinate with FDEP during review and acceptance . The complete proposal for the above Services can be seen in Exhibit A to this Work Order. SECTION III — TIME FOR COMPLETION & DELIVERABLESMORK PRODUCT 1 . Completion and Deliverables : a . "Services" project completion shall be within 30 calendar days of Notice to Proceed . b . Following completion of the "Services" ; Time for Completion and Deliverables shall be within 30 calendar days . c. Prepare maps , documents and supporting files in a way that the COUNTY or other consultants can readily use it for the design and analysis of the area , as defined . It is acknowledged all final products become property of Indian River COUNTY and will be available for use by the public at large . d . The SURVEYOR' S work product shall meet or exceed the minimum standards as defined by Sections II , III and IV or the COUNTY will not approve the SURVEYOR' S request for payment . SECTION IV — COMPENSATION The COUNTY agrees to pay , and the SURVEYOR agrees to accept , for the above described services rendered as identified in Sections I . ll , and III of this Work Order No . 5 , for a Time and Material . Not to Exceed Hr" ount of $24 , 645 . Time and Material based on the established Fee schedule in accordance with Contract No , 00.5 2007 - 2009 All and/ or any additional services not described hereon shall be pre - approved by the COUNTY . Approved additional services shall be invoiced at the rates disclosed in the approved fee schedule with the SURVEYOR for the contract year(s ) of November 6 "' , 200 ( through November 5`1 ' , 2. 009 . All Invoicing shall include Work Order No . 5 (WO 5 ) . Contract Number ( 0125 ) , itemized rnan - hours and materials expended to complete the scop; of services . Payments shall be, in accordance with the original Professional Surveying and Mapping/GIS Services Agreement , Contract No : 0725 with ltae COUNTY Strad as stated in Section II , III and IV hereon .
