AND INDIAN RIVER COUNTY , FLORIDA . This is an amendment to WORK ORDER #9 dated July 8 , 2008 to the agreement (AGREEMENT ) dated October 3 , 2006 for Professional Bridge Design Services Annual Contract between Bridge Design Associates , Inc . (ENGINEER ) and Indian River County ( COUNTY ) . AMENDMENT DESCRIPTION This Amendment includes the following : The ENGINEER will perform the necessary engineering services to the Old Dixie Highway Bridge over South Relief Canal Project by revising the plans to include a separate set of plans for a 6" diameter directional bore under the South Relief canal , attachment of an 8 " diameter water main to the new bridge and water main / force main deflections to avoid conflicts with drainage structures . " SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS AND DESCRIPTION" The project is located approximately 3300 feet north Along Old Dixie Highway between 2 °d Street SW and P Place . The work will include the replacement of the Old Dixie Highway Bridge over the South Relief Canal , approximately 3300 feet of road and drainage improvements to the approaches of the bridge , stormwater treatment ponds , utility improvements and other work necessary to complete the project . " SECTION III — SCOPE OF SERVICES " is being modified to include the following : The preparation of plans and specifications for the water main and sanitary sewer force main improvements associated with the Old Dixie Highway Bridge replacement over South Relief Canal and associated road and drainage improvements . The plans will include a 6" diameter directional bore under the South Relief canal , attachment of an 8 " diameter water main to the new bridge and water main / force main deflections to avoid conflicts with drainage structures . " SECTION IV — TIME FOR COMPLETION " The final plans shall be completed and all appropriate permits obtained within six weeks after notice to proceed . " SECTION V — COMPENSATION " is being modified to incorporate the following : The COUNTY agrees to pay and the ENGINEER agrees to accept for services rendered pursuant to this Agreement fees inclusive of expenses in accordance with the following : Bridge Design Associates , Inc .
