This Work Order No . 13 is in accordance with the existing AGREEMENT dated October 3 , 2006 between Bridge Design Associates , Inc . (ENGINEER) and Indian River County ( COUNTY) . This Work Order No . 13 amends the agreement as follows : SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS 57`h Street Bridge over Lateral "A" Canal SECTION II — SCOPE OF SERVICES This Work Order No . 13 is for providing modification to the design phase and for construction phase service ( construction engineering and inspection) for the above mentioned project . SECTION III = TIME FOR COMPLETION 90 calendar days from notice to proceed for final design modification and permits . REGARDING : 57T" Street Bridge over Lateral "A" Canal Dear Chris : Pursuant to your request Bridge Design Associates , Inc. can modify the existing replacement bridge plans prepared in 2007 to lower the proposed bridge approximately T-0 feet . The bridge plans will also incorporate provisions so that the bridge can be raised in the future re-using both the substructure and the superstructure components . New guardrail attachments and approach slabs will be required when the bridge is raised . The piles will be designed to accept the future pile cap extension and jacking forces required to raise the bridge superstructure . The attached Exhibit "A" is an approximate hourly breakdown of tasks for the design phase of the project and Exhibit " B " is the construction phase services .
