In accordance with Contract No. 0725 This Work Order No. 8 is in accordance with the existing AGREEMENT dated November 6`h 2007 between Carter Associates, Inc. (SURVEYOR) and Indian River County (COUNTY). This Work Order No. 8 amends the agreement as follows: SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS This Work Order No. 8 is for the SURVEYOR to perform continuing surveying services for the "Oslo Road and Boat Ramp Facility" located in a portion of Sections 19, 20, 29 and 30, Township 33 South, Range 40 East, Parcel ID #33401900000700000002.0, Site address: 91" Street SW — East of U.S. Highway #1. SECTION II - SCOPE OF SERVICES As agreed upon between Carter Associates, Inc. and Indian River County, the SURVEYOR shall provide additional (continuing) Professional Surveying and Mapping services for the Topographic Survey previously performed under I.R.C. # 0138 Annual Land Surveying Contract Work Order No. 3 (Carter), Design survey Topographic / Hydrographic / Environmental Professional Land Survey Services for the following project: Oslo Road Boat Ramp Facilitv (proposed). I.R.C. Proiect No. 0381- Phase One. Additional (continuing) survey tasks shall consist of the following services: 1. Update the existing Topographic Survey (Carter Associates, Inc. Project Number 03- 422S, Drawing Number 17006 C, dated August 2003. 2. Coordinate with G.K. Environmental to identify, field locate and delineate new wetland points and culvert locations. 3. Delineate submerged lands area (Parcel ID # 33402900000001000001.0) per TIIF deed to be provided by the County 4. Review GLO notes, existing surveys and record information to establish the southeast corner of Government Lot 4, Section 19, Township 33 South, Range 40 East. County to provide any available survey information pertaining to this area. Calculate and depict the location of the County owned lands (Parcel ID # 33401900000700000002.0) lying north of Oslo Road and adjacent to the Indian River Lagoon by deed to be provided by the County. 6. Establish and delineate the approximate location of the northern most riparian line of the calculated County owned lands 7. Perform Topographic/Hydrographic survey of the proposed ramp and dock facility area. Project area is approximately 100 feet easterly of the existing shoreline from 50 feet south of the south right-of-way of Oslo Road to 50 feet north of the County owned lands. Topography to include a 25 foot grid, cross sections of the existing shoreline and cross sections of the existing channel, if any. 8. Contact DEP to establish the current elevation of the MHW pursuant to Chapter 177, Part II Florida Statues. Delineate the MHWL location on the updated survey and submit to DEP for approval. 9. Project management, onsite meetings and coordination with G.K. Environmental, I.R.C., S.J.R.W.M.D. and D.E.P. SECTION III — TIME FOR COMPLETION & DELIVERABLES/WORK PRODUCT 1. Project shall be completed within thirty (30) business days from Notice to Proceed. 2. Deliverables SHALL BE CERTIFIED TO Indian River County and shall include five (5) signed and sealed 24" x 36" surveys (in state Plane Geometry), electronic copies in AutoCAD 2007 and PDF formats. SECTION IV — COMPENSATION The COUNTY agrees to pay, and the SURVEYOR agrees to accept, for services rendered as identified in Sections I, II, and III of this Work Order No. 8, a lump sum fee of $ 10,960.00.
