DECLARATION TO THE PUBLIC
Pursuant to Florida Administrative Code section 62-701 . 610 (5) , the Board of County
Commissioners , Indian River County, Florida , hereby declares as follows :
1 . Indian River County, Florida , a political subdivision , is the owner of real property located
in Indian River County, Florida , as more specifically described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and by this reference incorporated herein in its entirety, commonly known as the "Oslo Landfill . "
2 . A site plan setting forth the area of the "Oslo Landfill" that is actually filled with solid
waste is contained in Exhibit "B " attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein in its
entirety.
3 . By this Declaration , Indian River County, Florida , a political subdivision , hereby provides
notice that any future owner or user of the "Oslo Landfill" should consult with the Florida
Department of Environmental Protection , Central District, 3319 Maguire Boulevard , Suite 232 ,
Orlando , FL 32803-3767 prior to planning or initiating any activity involving the disturbance of
the landfill cover, monitoring systems , or other control structures .
IN WITNESS WHEREOF , Indian River County, Florida , a political subdivision , has
signed and sealed these presents on March 7 , 2006 .
