MmurBoardvefrMunty Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at the Court House in Hero Beech, on Tuesday, June 5th 1928 at 10 o'clock A.M.with the following members of the Board present: John H. Atkin, Chairman; J.w. rude; J.J.P. Hamilton and O.O.Helseth. Also present were Miles Warren, Clerk and J.H.Satherland, Sheriff., The Minutes of the meetings held in May 1928 were read and. approved. The Notary Public bond of Will T. Holtzclaw, in the sum of $500.00 with The American Da rety Company, a corporation, of New York as surety was approved. The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were examined and approved and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same. The several County depositories having filed their monthly reports showing receipts and disbursements for the month of May and some having been checked were found to be correct. The Board then adjourned until Mondays June 11th, 1928 at 10 o'clock A. I. a i r m a n. ATTEST e r k. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - XONDAY, JUNE 11th„192$, The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at the Court House in Vero Beach, on Mondays June 11th, 1928 at 10 o' o lock, A .M. in adjourned meeting with the following members of the Board present: J. V. LaBruce; J.J.P.Hamilton; Geo. A. Braddock and 0. 0. Helseth. Also present were Miles Warren, Clerk and J.H.Sutherland, ;Mieriffe The Chairman being absent from this meeting on motion duly„ made, seconded and unanimously carried the Board designated J. W. LaBruee, as Chairman pro -tem. P. F. Jarvis appeared before the Board regarding Bridge to John's Island and the same having been considered, it was ordered that the County Engineer prepare adverise- ment for the project for the Board to receive sealed bits not later than June 29th 19289 and the Board meet on said date to consider such bids and proposals as may then be on file. Miss Leila Bunkley appeared before the Board respecting the condition ofmIrs. Harris Jones, and fwaily, and after consideration, it was ordered that the bills and expense incurred in rendering aid and assistance to this family be paid by the County out of the General Revenue Fund. The Board, in compliance with law, examined the registration books of the County and finding that no revision of the same is necessary at this time, the books with the names of persons registered were ordered approved.
