HomeMy WebLinkAbout2008-073I V, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY HABITAT CONSERVATION PLAN AMENDMENT NO.4 TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN ECOLOGICAL ASSOCIATES INC., AND INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, This is an amendment to the existing Professional Services Agreement (AGREEMENT) dated October 12, 1999, between Ecological Associates Inc. (CONSULTANT) and Indian River County (COUNTY). This amendment addresses changes in "Section III — Scope of Services" and "Section V — Compensation". The prior Amendment 3 extended the completion date of the original Agreement until March 31, 2009. Amendment Description This Amendment includes the following changes to "Section III - Scope of Services" and "Section V — Compensation". SECTION III The CONSULTANT shall complete the additional scope of service items in accordance with tasks described in Exhibit "A". SECTION V Section V is being revised in response to the Section III changes. The charges associated with the change in project scope are in accordance with Exhibit "A". This AGREEMENT is hereby amended as specifically set forth herein. All other sections of the AGREEMENT shall remain in full force and effect, and are incorporated herein. COSTS: Services will be provided at fixed cost, inclusive of all labor and materials, as itemized below. TERMS: Net 30 days. Ecological Associates, Inc. February 22, 2008 Cost Proposal — Dune Plantings, 2008 ATTACHMENT A SCOPE OF SERVICES INDIAN RIVER COUNTY NFWF GRANT DUNE PLANTINGS, 2008 1. Provide 1200, 3 gallon size Sea Grape Plants. Plants shall be free of insects and disease at time of installation or delivery. 2. Install plants in coastal locations at 17 private parcels in Indian River County, Florida, as specified by the County's Coastal Engineering Division staff. 3. Deliver any remaining plants to a location specified by County staff for subsequent planting by County staff on oceanfront public lands. 4. Consult with private property owners receiving plants about proper care and watering. 5. Replace any dead plants, one time only, for a period of one calendar year, assuming proper care by the property owner and not including loss due to post installation damage, abuse, neglect or damage caused by severe weather or other acts of nature.
