This Amendment Number 6 to Work Order Number 1 ("Amendment') is entered into as
of this 3rd day of June 2008 ("Effective Date") pursuant to that certain Continuing
Contract Agreement for Professional Services dated entered into as of 19 February 2008
("Agreement'), by and between Indian River County, a political subdivision of the State of
Florida ("COUNTY") AND Ecotech Consultants, Inc. ("CONSULTANT").
1. The COUNTY has selected the Consultant to perform the professional services set
forth in Work Order Number 1 dated May 1, 2005
2. The COUNTY
and the Consultant
desire to amend Work Order
Number 1 as set forth
in Exhibit 1 attached to
this Amendment
and made a part hereof by
this reference, all in
accordance with the terms
and provisions set
forth in the Agreement.
3. From and after the Effective Date of this Amendment, Work Order Number 1 is
amended as set forth in this Amendment. Pursuant to paragraph 1.4 of the Agreement, nothing
contained in any Work Order shall conflict with the terms of the Agreement and the terms of the
Agreement shall be deemed to be incorporated in each individual Work Order as if fully set forth
herein.

INDIAN RIVER UTILITIES DEPARTMENT
NORTH COUNTY BRINE DISPOSAL
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Amendment No. 6 modifies the scope of work in Work Order No. 1 as issued to Ecotech
Consultants, Inc. for assisting the County with design, permitting, and construction services. This
amendment provides for additional soil boring services to determine the depth of soil over the rock
zone. Amendment No. 6 is being implemented at this time to provide professional environmental
and engineering services by Ecotech Consultants, Inc. and Masteller & Moler, Inc. associated with
the project described above. The additional work to be performed as part of this Amendment will
generally include subsurface investigations..
A brief description of the scope of services for Amendment No. 6 is provided below:
Task 1. Additional Soil Boring Services
Ecotech Consultants, Inc. will assist the County with the collection of additional soil boring
information to complete the project bidding process.
The deliverables for this task will be a report summarizing the field data.

PROJECT BUDGET
The Ecotech Consultants, Inc. Team proposes to complete the Scope of Services described in
Amendment No. 6, Attachment 1 for the lump sum amount of $1,610.00. This increases the overall
cost of Work Order No. 1 from $393,949.00 to $395,559.00. An approximate breakdown of this
lump sum amount, by task, is presented below.

PROJECT SCHEDULE
An estimated schedule for completion for the scope of services contained in Amendment 6 is shown
below. The time needed to complete each of the tasks described in Attachment 1 by Ecotech
Consultants, Inc. and the County can be reasonably estimated as shown below with the limitation
that neither the County nor Ecotech Consultants, Inc. can control the phase of the permitting process
controlled by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the St. Johns River Water
Management District, or the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
