AMENDMENT NO . 1 TO WORK ORDER NO . 6 OF THE PROFESSIONAL
GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN
DUNKELBERGER ENGINEERING & TESTING , INC. AND INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
FLORIDA
This is an amendment to Work Order No . 6 to the existing Professional Geotechnical
Engineering Services Agreement (AGREEMENT) dated November 18 , 2008 between
Dunkelberger Engineering & Testing, Inc . ( GEOTECHNICAL PROFESSIONAL) and Indian
River County ( COUNTY) .
Amendment Description
This amendment addresses changes in " Scope of Services " and " Compensation" of the
AGREEMENT .
" SCOPE OF SERVICES " is being modified to incorporate the following :
GEOTECHNICAL PROFESSIONAL will perform six (6) field density tests by nuclear
method at locations selected by the COUNTY and travel to site to retrieve soil , base rock
and asphalt (bulk at time of placement) samples .
GEOTECHNICAL PROFESSIONAL will perform one ( 1 ) T- 180 Proctor compaction
test, one ( 1 ) Limerock Bearing Ratio (LBV) test, and one ( 1 ) asphalt
extraction/graduation test on materials selected by the COUNTY .
GEOTECHNICAL PROFESSIONAL will provide typed reports presenting the field and
laboratory tests results will be signed/sealed by a Florida Registered Engineer and
provided to the COUNTY .
" COMPENSATION" is being modified to incorporate the following :
The COUNTY agrees to pay and the GEOTECHNICAL PROFESSIONAL agrees to
accept for services rendered pursuant to this Work Order fees a not4o - exceed amount of
$ 1 , 699 . 00 .

This AMENDMENT, regardless of where executed , shall be governed by and construed
according to the laws of the State of Florida .
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have executed these presents this
14th day of Apri 1 , 2009 .
