A special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Indian
River County was held at 9:00 o'clock A.M. in the County Commissioners
Room in the Indian River County Courthouse. Present were Chairman
Robert Graves, and members D. B. McCullers, Jr. and B. Q. Waddell, Jr.
Absent were J. J. P. Hamilton and Donald Macdonald. Also present were
Ed Schmucker, County Engineer and Katherine Morrison Deputy Clerk.
Absent was Sherman N. Smith, Jr., Attorney for the Board.
The Chairman announced this meeting was called for the purpose
approving or disapproving a plat for General Development Corporation.
Mr. Huff of General Development Corporation was recognized and
requested approval for replatting a portion of Vero Beach Highlands,
Unit #2 Subdivision. After some discussion in the matter, Motion was
made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and
carried, that the Board approves the replatting of portions of Blocks
65, 66, 67 and 68 of Vero Beach Highlands,S/D, Unit #2.
There being no further business, the Board then adjourned.
