The $ 750 , 000 in CDBG funds will pay a portion of the cost for the new Fire /EMS Station . The full cost is expected to be about $ 2 , 200 , 000 . The Project will be on vacant , undeveloped land in a residential neighborhood . The project is not within the floodplain . The Reasons for such decision not to prepare such Statement are as follows : An environmental assessment was performed which verified that the only impacts to the environment would be minimal and beneficial .
