COUNTY MITIGATION PROJECT / " Denton Parcel " / Buffer Preserve
Dear Chris,
This letter is in response to the requested proposal for the above referenced
project in Indian River County, Florida, for environmental services required to comply
with State Monitoring Requirements for the above referenced project. G. K.
Environmental, Inc. (GKE) will be pleased to provide this service with tasks completed
under this contract and which are briefly outlined below:
SCOPE OF SERVICES
TASK I — Proiect Review
TASK L• GKE to assist client, surveyor, Parks Department, and Buffer Preserve
Staff to complete required field work, and review work with client (two
meetings) .
TASK II — Baseline Hvdrolo ical and Vegetative Monitoring Methodolo

TASK II: GKE will meet (one meeting) onsite with client and permitting staff to
review and discuss monitoring methodology and monitoring sites. Once
site location and methodology .is approved by SJRWMD, � GKE will
provide required "baseline vegetative monitoring report" of the 'Denton
Parcel " enhancement areas .

TASK III
TASK III: GKE will provide one ( 1 ) annual monitoring report per year for 5 years.'
Compensation for year one (2006) is. $2,250 .00
Compensation for year two (2007) is $2,500. 00 ;
Compensation for year three (2008) is $2, 750 . 00;
Compensation for year four (2009) is , $3 ,000. 00;
Compensation for year five, (2010) is $3 ,250 .00 -
TO $ 13 ,750 . 00 for GKE monitoring for five (5) years as outlined
above.
GKE Fees / Compensation ,
Work on TASKS I and II: $2 ,750 . 00
Work on TASK III : $ 133750. 00,
Additional GKE environmental services will be billed at the hourly, rate of
$ 110 . 00 . per hour , for Principal Ecologist and $30. 00 per ,hour for administrative
assistance as needed /. requested:
If the above is acceptable, please sign below and mail or fax a 'copy to our
office. Work will be scheduled upon receipt of signed authorization. Payment is
due within 30 days of date of invoice.
