THURSDAY, JULY 5, 1962
The Board of County Commissione s of Indian River County, met
at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida, in a special meeting held at
10:00 o'clock, A. M., Thursday, July 5, 1962: Present were Robert W.
Graves, Chairman, D. B. McCullers, and J. J. P. Hamilton. Absent
were B. Q. Waddell and Donald Macdonald. Also present was Al Webber,
Deputy Clerk.
On Motion by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner
Hamilton and unanimously carried, it was voted to approve payment of
Warrant #71 from the Fine and Forfeiture Fund for $10,786.79 to Sam
T. Joyce, Sheriff, covering 1/12 of the Sheriff's budget for the
current fiscal year, and representing his expenses for the month of
June, the warrant so issued from the respective fund being listed in
the Supplemental Minute Book as provided by the rules of the State
auditor, reference to such record and the list so recorded being
made a part of these minutes.
There being no further business, on motion made, seconded and
carried the Board then adjourned.
