SECTION IV-SCOPE OF SERVICES The DESIGN/BUILDER agrees to perform the final design and permitting and construction phases as stipulated in the CONTRACT to add lighting to the new pre-engineered metal building,and to construct a new fire line,as detailed in PCL's price proposal,dated 12/16/02,which is herein made a part of this Amendment and is attached as"Exhibit A". SECTION VI-COMPENSATION The COUNTY agrees to pay and the DESIGN/BUILDER agrees to accept for services rendered pursuant to this Amendment,a additive change to the Guaranteed Maximum Price of$36,509.00,as detailed in"Exhibit A". Receipt of an executed copy of this Amendment shall constitute the COUNTY'S notice to the DESIGN/BUILDER to proceed with the work. B. All provisions of the CONTRACT not specifically modified shall remain in full force and effect. C. This Agreement, regardless of where executed, shall be governed by and construed according to the laws of the State of Florida. This price reflects additional scope of work comprising of: Electrical Work, and the addition of Fire Line. The total lump sum for the amendment#3 is Thirty Six Thousand Five Hundred and Nine Dollars ($36,509.00). Please find attached a cost breakdown for the additional additions for your reference. Items to be Added to our scope of work: • Electrical work(lighting,panels)(Power to be provided from an overhead power pole next to the building)(The removal of existing power poles on site is not included) • Additional Fire line The following items are Not included • Original Proposed master site plan that consisted of swales and enlarging the large detention pond • 36"Rcp for Site Plan • Roof and siding insulation • Monitoring well and water testing for NPDES Permit • Concrete drive approach/drives • Gates and Fencing • Additional pavers to match existing and connect to new building • Galvanizing of structural beams and columns • Epoxy paint • Lightning protection is not provided Clarifications • Landscaping value is an allowance if actual cost is higher than the allowance there will be an increase in the contract value to cover the actual cost. The landscape includes seeding of disturbed area. • Galvanizing of the purlins and girts (structural steel will be shop primed and painted on site with oil based paint). • No Pavers are to be provided—A concrete pad 20'x44' is included to connect the existing building to the new building. • Site office is not included(we are to have access to a room in the existing building to operate on site construction). • Temporary toilet facilities are not included(We are to have access to existing restroom in existing building). The total value for this additional work will be Thirty Six Thousand Five Hundred and Nine Dollars($36,509.00). This price will be valid for no more than 60 days. Schedule attached represents duration and sequencing of work only. The actual start and completion dates are dependant on the date of Notice to Proceed,the previous submitted schedule is only applicable for activates and anticipated durations.
