Dear Mr, Baird :
It is understood that Indian River County has an Agreement for Debris
Management and Disaster Recovery Services with DRC , Inc . that will be
following all aspects of the agreement between Martin County , Florida , Re : Bid #
RFP 138 -01 and DRC , Inc .
Pursuant to the request of Indian River County , DRC , Inc . hereby agrees to offer
Debris Management and Disaster Recovery Services to Indian River County
under the same price ( s ) , terms and conditions as the contract for Debris
Management and Disaster Recovery Services awarded to DRC , Inc . The pricing
amendment for the describedservices by DRC , Inc . to Indian River
County to load , haul , grind 0-rpOffffliMaintain the site is $ 19 , 50 per cubic yard .
The hauling out of the chips , if necessary , will be at $ 6 . 25 per cubic yard up to a
15 mile one way haul . The rates for the various sizes of stumps shall be as per
the contract price and not by the cubic yard . Any tipping fees , if necessary , are
the responsibility of Indian River County .
All references to Martin County , Florida in the attached contract for Debris
Management and Disaster Recovery Services shall be assumed to pertain to and
are binding upon and for Indian River County .

Dear Mr. Tetreault :
This serves as a notice to proceed from Indian River County authorizing DRC ,
Inc . to proceed with debris removal within Indian River County as a result of
Hurricane Jeanne as directed by Indian River County in accordance with the
terms of the contract executed with DRC , Inc . and Indian River County on March
19 , 2002 . As you know , this has been deemed as an emergency situation and
will be processed in terms of emergency procedures .
The following is agreed upon as requested :
• The contract may be terminated at any time for breach of the
terms and conditions of Indian River County . If this clause is
exercised , Indian River County agrees to pay the Contractor
for all work completed through the termination date .
• Payment to the Contractor will be the responsibility of Indian
River County in accordance with the terms of the letter of
agreement dated as of September 27 , 2004 , and will not be
contingent upon reimbursement by any other agency .
• Indian River County will make every effort to pay the
Contractor on a weekly basis .
