Mr. Gerald Rivenbark presented his views to the Board on a proposal made to him by General Waterworks, Inc., for supplying water to Glen Acres Subdivision, which was, in his opinion, unfair. Mr. Ed Keller- man, representing General Waterworks, Inc., explained in great detail the operation of the company, the methods used to determine the charges and also stated that it was their desire to work together with the county in the future operation of the business. After hearing their discussion, the water franchise was given to the County Attorney for further study so that he could make a report at the next meeting on Friday, September 28, 1962. The Chairman read a notice from the Democratic Executive Committee, advising of a meeting to be held Saturday, September 22, 1962, and inviting all elected officials to attend. At the suggestion of the County Attorney the following motions were made with regard to Roseland Road right-of-way. Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by ,.Commissioner Waddell and unanimously carried, that Mrs. Mary G. Jensen be paid $160.00 for parcel No. 103.1, Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Wad- dell, and unanimously carried, that the County Attorney be authorized to offer $100.00 to Mr. Fred Warner, for right-of-way. The County Attorney read a copy of a letter from Attorney Vocelle-to the State Road Department advising the State Road Department that.thLy were.encroaching on Mrs. Kjorsvik's property. The County attorney was asked to write to Mr.' Vocelle and send a copy to the State • Road Department and asked them to furnish us with a survey of Mrs. Kjors- vik's property. Al Qebber, Deputy Clerk, .requested authority to release $1,000.00 on Greenbrier Subdivision, Unit 2, as the plat requirements had been computed.
