INDIAN RIVER COUNTY MURPHY ACT
RESERVATION AND RELEASE MAPPING
ADDENDUM NO , 2
OBJECTIVE OF THE ADDENDUM
The objective of this Addendum is to extend the scope of services of the " Indian River County
Public Works Department Professional Surveying Services Agreement for Murphy Act
Reservation and Release Mapping " dated March 4 , 2003 (the Agreement) to map an additional
201 Murphy Act release documents . This addendum further sets out a scope of services for
Nick Miller, Inc. ( NMI ) to provide periodic Murphy Act release mapping on an as-needed basis .
ONE -TIME UPDATE MAPPING OF 201 MURPHY ACT RELEASES
SOURCE OF RELEASE DATA
SURVEYOR will map two-hundred and one (201 ) Murphy Act releases based on release
documents provided by Indian River County.
DATA STRUCTURE OF RELEASES
NMI will map the releases as AutoCAD blocks with attributes . To facilitate documentation of the
releases the following attributes will be assigned to each release polygon :
0 TIIF release reference number
• Deed Book Number of the release
Deed Book Page Number of the release
• Date of the release
PROJECT DELIVERABLES
Electronic Maps and Attribute Databases
NMI will deliver the mapped reservations and releases in two electronic formats :
1 . AutoCAD 2005 blocks with attributes .
2 . ArcGIS polygon shape files with associated attribute tables .
Paper maps
NMI will provide revised 11 " x 17 " (tabloid ) size map pages that may be inserted into the map
books created under the Agreement for those map book pages that are affected by the newly
mapped releases .
DELIVERY SCHEDULE
The project will consist of one submittal . Following the final submittal the County shall have 30
days to review the maps and make comments . NMI will then have 30 days to address the
comments .

FEES AND BILLING SCHEDULE
The fee for this project shall be Five Thousand Six Hundred ($5 , 600 . 00) dollars . The fee shall
be billed upon submittal of the deliverables listed above .
PERIODIC UPDATE OF MURPHY ACT RELEASE MAP
PURPOSE OF THE PERIODIC UPDATE
Between 10 and 20 new Murphy Act release documents are issued within Indian River County
each year by the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund of the State of Florida . To
ensure that the Murphy Act Reservation and Release Map remains current NMI will ,
periodically , map these new releases .
PROCEDURE FOR COORDINATING PERIODIC MAPPING
The periodic mapping of new release documents will be initiated by the County in the form of a
purchase order. The County will provide NMI with a legible copy of each release to be mapped
and a copy of the GIS based Murphy Act Reservation and Release Map files . NMI will map the
releases on the most current version of the GIS based map as provided by the County using the
same methods described in the Agreement.

created under the Agreement for those map book pages that are affected by the newly

FEES FOR THE PERIODIC MAPPING
The fee for the periodic mapping of Murphy Act releases shall be Seventy ( $70 . 00 ) Dollars per
release document mapped .
COMPENSATION
The COUNTY agrees to pay, and NICK MILLER , INC agrees to accept , a fee for services
rendered according to the "Scope of Services" identified in all Sections of this Supplemental
agreement, a Lump Sum of $ 5 , 600 . 00 and an Hourly rate of $ 70 . 00 for future updates as
directed by the County.
The AGREEMENT is hereby amended as specifically set forth herein . All remaining sections of
the original AGREEMENT dated March 4 , 2003 shall remain in full force and effect, and are
incorporated herein .

FUNDING
Funds for the supplemental tasks in the amount of $5 , 600 . 00 shall come from the annual
Professional Surveying and Mapping Services Contract # 0390 for 2004=2005 (account
number 10921441 =033490 -05007).
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have executed these presents this 15th
day of November , 2005 .
