PROFESSIONAL CIVIL ENGINEERING SERVICES
AGREEMENT FOR CIVIL ENGINEERING, SURVEYING
AND BRIDGE DESIGN SERVICES
AMENDMENT NO, 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING/LAND SURVEYING
SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES, INC. AND
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA.
This is an amendment to the existing Engineering/Land Surveying Services Agreement (AGREEMENT)
dated April Is'. 2003 between Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc . (ENGINEER) and Indian River County
(COUNTY) . This amendment addresses changes in Section III - Scope of Services " , " Section V -
Compensation" and "Section XVI — Duration of Agreement " of the AGREEMENT.
Amendment Description
This Amendment includes the following:
" SECTION III — SCOPE OF SERVICES " is being modified to incorporate the following:

The ENGINEER will develop construction documents to detail the removal and
relocation of the existing 12" water main. The water main will be relocated to an
at-grade crossing between the northern box culvert headwall and the sidewalk.
Utility Permittins
The ENGINEER will incorporate these utility modifications within a FDEP public drinking water
permit and/or notification. The consultant will coordinate with FDEP in regards to obtaining these
permits and/or authorizations. The COUNTY will be responsible for all permit application and
agency review fees .
"SECTION V — COMPENSATION" is being modified to incorporate the following :
The COUNTY agrees to pay and the ENGINEER agrees to accept for services rendered pursuant
to this Agreement fees inclusive of expenses in accordance with the following:
A. Professional Services Fee
The basic compensation mutually agreed upon by the ENGINEER and the COUNTY is as
follows :

"SECTION XVI — DURATION OF AGREEMENT" is being modified to incorporate the following:
The utility construction documents and permit applications will be submitted to FDEP three (3 )
months following authorization to proceed.
The AGREEMENT is hereby amended as specifically set forth here in. All other sections of the
AGREEMENT shall remain in full force and effect and are incorporated herein.
This Amendment No. 1 to the AGREEMENT regardless of where executed, shall be governed by and
construed by the laws of the State of Florida.
