In accordance with Contract No . 0725 2007 - 2009 CR510 Sidewalk Improvements West of Al A. Topographic Survey within IRC Parcel for the Sidewalk Design Project IRC Project No . 0945 This Work Order No . 8 is in accordance with the existing AGREEMENT dated November 6th 2007 between Kimley- Horn and Associates , Inc . ( SURVEYOR ) and Indian River County ( COUNTY) . This Work Order No . 8 amends the agreement as follows : SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS This Work Order No . 8 is for the SURVEYOR to perform all related field and office surveying and mapping services in connection with the design and planning of the CR510 sidewalk project fronting the IRC owned lands 330 ' long and located approximately 400 ' west of SR AIA . SECTION II as SCOPE OF SERVICES As agreed upon between SURVEYOR and the COUNTY , the SURVEYOR shall provide Professional Land Surveying services to complete all tasks as outlined in this Work Order No . 8 , and per the attached Scope of Services and Cost Outline ( Exhibit A) . Project shall be completed as follows : • 30 calendar days of Notice to Proceed . 2 . Deliverables -The SURVEYOR shall provide the COUNTY : a . As defined in attached proposal and scope of services ( Exhibit A) and related digital AutoCAD and PDF files . b . Work Product and digital versions are to be prepared and submitted so that the COUNTY or other consultants can readily use it for the design and analysis of the area , as defined . It shall contain all information necessary for third - party surveyor to independently recreate and/or utilize the survey work . It is acknowledged all final products become property of the COUNTY and will be available for use by the public at large . c . The SURVEYOR ' S work product shall meet or exceed the minimum standards as defined by Sections II , III and IV . SECTION IV — COMPENSATION The COUNTY agrees to pay , and the SURVEYOR agrees to accept a total lump sum fee of $3 , 680 . 00 for the above described services rendered as identified in Sections I , II , and III of this Work Order No . 8 . All and/or any additional services not described hereon shall be pre - approved by the COUNTY . Approved additional services shall be invoiced at the rates disclosed in the approved fee schedule with the SURVEYOR for the contract year( s ) of November 6 , 2007 through November 5 , 2009 . All invoicing shall include project number ( 0860 ) , Work Order No . ( WO8 ) , Contract No . ( 0725) . Payments shall be in accordance with the original Professional Surveying and Mapping/GIS Services Agreement , contract No : 0725 with the COUNTY and as stated in Section ll , III and IV hereon . IRC Project 0945 — CR510 Sidewalk Improvement W. of AlA, Design & Survey PROPOSAL Professional Survey Services Topographic Survey September 4 , 2009 Mr. Michael O ' Brien , PSM Indian River County 1801 27`h Street Vero Beach , Fl 32960 Re : County Road 510- proposed sidewalk - topographic survey services Dear Mr. O ' Brien : Kimley-Horn and Associates , Inc . (" KHA") is pleased to submit this letter agreement (the "Agreement") to Indian River County ("the Client" ) for providing survey and mapping services . Our scope of services , schedule, and fee are below . Scope of Services Task I — Preparation of a Topographic Survey This task will consist of the following : • We will prepare a topographic survey over the northern portion of parcel # 31392600000002000001 . 0 which is currently owned by Indian River County. • The specific limits of the topographic survey are : North limit is the centerline of County Road 510 ; South limit is 130 ' south of the centerline of County Road 510 ; The existing sidewalk within 100 east and west of the parcel will be located . • Cross sections will be taken every 50 ' . • All trees will be located on the parcel from the centerline of County Road 510 to a point 95 ' south of the centerline of County Road 510 . • Existing monitor wells will be located and the stamping shown on the survey. The survey baseline will be cleared and monumented . Benchmarks will be established on the survey baseline . The topographic survey will be prepared for the purpose of the design and construction of a new sidewalk . 1 EXHIBIT "A" IRC CONTRACT 0725 WORK ORDER NO. 8 Kimley -Horn Inc . IRC Project 0945 — CR510 Sidewalk Improvement W . of AlA , Design & Survey PROPOSAL Professional Survey Services Topographic Survey Additional Services Any services not specifically provided for in the above scope will be considered additional services and can be performed at our contract hourly rates . Deliverables Deliverables will consist of a digital file and 10 certified copies of the Topographic Survey . Schedule We will submit the topographic survey described in Task 1 within 30 days from written notice to proceed . KHA will perform the Scope of Services for a lump sum fee of $ 3 , 680 . All pennitting , application , and similar project fees will be paid directly by the Client . Closure In addition to the matters set forth herein , our Agreement shall include and be subject to , and only to , the terms and conditions in the existing AGREEMENT dated November 6 , 2007 , between Kimley-Horn and Associates , Inc . , (SURVEYOR) and Indian River County (COUNTY) under the contract number 0725 .
