( "Lessee") . WHEREAS , Lessor and the Pelican Island Audubon Society, Inc . (the "Audubon Society" ) entered into that certain Lease dated March 6 , 1987 whereby Lessor leased to the Audubon Society property on Wabasso Island (as more particularly described in the attached Exhibit "A" ) ; and WHEREAS , the Audubon Society by that certain Assignment of Lease dated January 4 , 1988 assigned its rights under the Lease to Lessee ; and WHEREAS , Lessor and Lessee modified the lease on July 2 , 1991 , recorded at O . R . Book 910 , Page 1864 , to add a " non -discriminatory" paragraph 10 , enforceable by Lessor and the Florida Inland Navigation District; and WHEREAS , Lessor and Lessee desire to further modify said Lease pursuant to the terms of this Modification . NOW, THEREFORE , in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained herein , the parties hereby agree as follows : 1 . The Lease shall be amended to incorporate additional lands to the south of the leased property, more particularly described in Exhibit "B " attached hereto and made a part hereof. 2 . Except as modified herein , the Lease shall continue in full force and effect. In the event of any inconsistency between the terms of the original Lease and this Modification , the terms of this Modification shall control .
