182 <br />your honors as follows: <br />That we, after <br />first <br />having subscribed <br />to the oath required by <br />law before entering on <br />our duties make <br />this <br />our general report: <br />That we proceeded to the <br />said proposed location of the said public road Capon the day of .august 1928, and <br />viewed and marked out the following as the best route for said proposed road. ("Said road <br />is to be fifty (50) feet wide) <br />Commencing at a point in the Dixie Highway 480 ft. Southerly from the forth <br />line of the South-west 1/4 of the South-west 1/4 Section. 199 Township 33 South, Range <br />40 East; thence North 82 degrees East 397 ft. to the West right-of-way line of State <br />Road No. .49 Prof ect 691. <br />Therefore, having performed the duties required by law under the appointment of <br />your honors, we pray to be discharged. <br />0. 0. -Helseth <br />Dewey Reams <br />tL. Leacher <br />ad Committee. <br />It was ordered that said report be accepted and filed, and that notice be given as <br />required by law for 30-2days, after which the said road will be declared a Public County <br />Road, in the event no protest is filed regarding same. <br />The following Road petition was received, read and filed: <br />RMR PETITION. <br />STATE OF FLORIDA ) <br />s <br />COUNTY OF INDIAN RIVER) <br />TO ;THE HOVORABDE BOARD OF COUNTY C IS IONER$: <br />Gentlemen: - <br />-We the undersigned, citizens of the County of Indian River, State of Florida, <br />respectfully represent that the necessities of the public require a County Road, to be <br />laid -out as follows, to -wit: Commencing at North-east corner of S.W.1/4. of -S X.1/4 of <br />'Sec. 26 T.32 °E.;R.39 E., run Fest on North line to Dixie Highway 1500 feet more or less, <br />said right-of-way to be 50 feet wide, 25 feet each side of line. <br />'We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid out and opened a <br />County Road as above described, and we, the owners of the land through which said road <br />is sought to be laid out, in consideration of the sum of one dollar to us each and <br />severally in hand paid by the <br />said <br />County of Indian River, the receipt <br />of which <br />is <br />hereby <br />acknowledged, hereby agree to <br />give <br />the right-of-way through our lands, <br />as shown <br />by <br />the <br />plat accompanying this petition, and re4inquish all claims for damage by reason thereof. <br />It was ordered that John Aback; Louis Harris and D.L.Leisher, be appointed a <br />committee to view, mark and lay out said road and report to this Board. <br />It was ordered <br />that property <br />damage <br />and public liability <br />insurance be obtained on <br />11 V cars operated by the <br />County Nurse, <br />County <br />Engineer and County <br />Road Superintendent. <br />Notary <br />bond of Leila Gray in <br />the <br />scam of 0500.00 with .American Surety Company, a <br />corporation <br />of New York as surety <br />was <br />approved. <br />It was ordered that bills incurred and presented on account of needy persons be paid <br />out of the General Revenue Fund. <br />It was ordered that bills and accounts incurred in carrying on the Indian River <br />County Fair, and which have not yet been paid be approved in -full and warrants issued <br />the Publicity Fund in settlement of same. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were examine <br />and found to be correct, were approved and warrants ordered issued in settlement of <br />same. <br />The <br />said bills <br />and <br />accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of the Cir- <br />cuit <br />Court <br />and made a <br />part <br />of these minutes. <br />1 <br />I. <br />1 <br />1 <br />
