Building property in Roseland, <br />appearedbefore the Board to discuss perking pro blems, destruction of' <br />the property etc. After considerable: d <br />cussion, Commissioner MaC- <br />donald suggested that he and the County Engineer would meet with them <br />later today to see if they could assist them with their problems. <br />•Sam=T%Joyce, Sheriff, presented a letter he had received. <br />from Attorney L. B. Vocelle concerning a street in the Spruce Park <br />area which had been barricaded by Nettie English Smith. After much <br />discussion, Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers seconded by; <br />Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, that the following <br />Resolution be adopted. <br />RESQLUTI 0 N <br />WHEREAS, roads in Spruce Park Subdivision recorded in Plat <br />Book:1, page 80, Indian River County Records, and certain roads ad- <br />jacent thereto and connecting to said subdivision which have been in <br />existance and used for more than fifteen years by the general public; <br />and,' <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, has authorized and has been maintaining certain roads <br />in this area for a period of more than four years; and, <br />WHEREAS, the roads that are specifically involved as known on <br />the map of streets and roads in Indian River County in the County Engi- <br />neer's Office in Indian River County, as Forty-second Street running <br />East and West from the West line of the SWC of the NW1/4 of Section 26, <br />Township 32 South, Range 39 East and running East to the FEC railroad; <br />Twenty-fifth Avenue which is the extension of Albert Street South to <br />Forty-second Street as shown on the Plat of Spruce Park, and Twenty- <br />fourth Court which is the extension of Spruce Street South to Forty- <br />second Street as shown on Plat of Spruce Park; and, <br />WHEREAS, said roads and streets have been' designated, used, <br />established and maintained by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />
