RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, the State Road Department of the State of Florida, is <br />now in the process of preparing its budget for the fiscal year 1964-1965; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, is vitally interested in the additions, extensions and improve- <br />ments to the primary road system of the State of Florida in Indian River <br />County, Florida; NOW, THEREFORE: <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, that this Board does herewith respectfully request <br />the State Road Department of the State of Florida to include in its budget <br />for primary roads for the fiscal year 1964-1965 the following projects in <br />Indian River County, Florida, <br />1. The reconstruction and improvement into a modern and <br />adequate two-lane highway of all of Wabasso Bridge <br />Road or State Road 510 from State Road 5 to the <br />Atlantic Ocean, including a new bridge over the <br />Indian River. <br />2. The construction of a new bridge on State Road 512 <br />approximately one-half mile East of the intersection <br />of State Road 510 and State Road 512 on a new alignment <br />just south of present location and to permit 3,000 <br />cubic feet of water per second to flow under bridge. <br />River to be a flood plain for a 200 foot width under <br />bridge. <br />3. Reconstruction of SR 507 to an adequate two-lane <br />highway with parking, from SR 512 to the North City <br />Limits of Fellsmere, approximately 0.5 mile. <br />4. Extension, widening and construction of SR 60 from <br />Indian River Boulevard to the Atlantic Ocean, approxi- <br />mately 1.5 miles. <br />5. Reconstruction of 34 miles of the North Road from the <br />North City Limits of Fellsmere to the North County line. <br />6. Extension, widening and construction of SR 60 from <br />20th Avenue to Kings Highway, approximately 2.5 miles <br />as well as a feasibility study for the extension to <br />turnpike. <br />
