WORK ORDER NO . 3B - SECTION II — SCOPE OF SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE <br /> SURVEYOR <br /> A. The SURVEYOR shall obtain and map as a "Topographic Survey" the projects existing <br /> horizontal and vertical datum and features as outlined below of the corridor for design <br /> and permitting purposes : <br /> 1 . Baseline/control and benchmarks are to reference previously established landside <br /> control. Horizontal Control shall be tied into State Plan coordinate system <br /> utilizing either Indian River County of City of Vero Beach GPS monuments . <br /> Coordinates shall be shown on all major intersections with rights of way and or <br /> property lines . <br /> 2 . Cross- Section (Soundings) at 100 ' stations, offset 100 ' left and right of existing <br /> centerline of channel. Locations of all existing spoil mounds , sand bards, channel <br /> markers or buoys indicating the channel or navigable waterway (or obstruction <br /> of) . <br /> 3 . Channel Markers shall depict horizontal position (Coordinates) . <br /> 4 . Location /Mapping of existing Sea Grass areas or areas of environmental concern <br /> from the MHW line of Right-of-Way of Inter- coastal Water-way. Indian River <br /> County and/or a Sub- Consultant shall supply delineation of environmental area <br /> (Sea Grass) within the Indian River. (To be established prior to commencement <br /> with phase two) . <br /> B . SURVEYOR ' S WORK PRODUCT <br /> The SURVEYOR' S work product must meet or exceed the following minimum <br /> standards, or else the COUNTY will not approve the SURVEYOR' S Request for <br /> Payment : <br /> 1 . Drawing Requirements <br /> a. Minimum drafting standards for all Drawings are : <br /> ( 1 ) Prepare all Drawings using AutoCAD 2000 or later. <br /> (2) Drawing Scale — Unless otherwise approved in writing by the <br /> COUNTY, the horizontal scale shall be 1 "= 100 ' or larger (e . g. <br /> 1 "=60 ' , 1 "=50 , etc . ) . Use match lines as appropriate . <br /> (3 ) Text Size - No text (including numbers) shall be <br /> smaller than 1 /8 -inch high. <br /> (4) Drawing Sheet Size - Drawing sheet size shall be 24-inch by 36- <br /> inch . <br /> (5 ) Existing Utilities <br /> (a) Call out each existing utility in the following order: <br /> 1 .
