INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> Oslo Road Bridge Replacement <br /> And Roadway Widening <br /> AMENDMENT NO . 3 TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING/LAND SURVEYING <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES , INC . AND <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA. <br /> This is an amendment to the existing Engineering/Land Surveying Services Agreement (AGREEMENT) <br /> dated March 24th, 1998 between Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc . (ENGINEER) and Indian River <br /> County (COUNTY) . This amendment addresses changes in " Section I - Project Limits and Description" , <br /> Section II - County Obligations, " Section III - Scope of Services " , " Section V - Compensation" <br /> and <br /> " Section XVI — Duration of Agreement " of the AGREEMENT . <br /> Amendment Description <br /> This Amendment includes the following : <br /> " SECTION III — SCOPE OF SERVICES " is being modified to incorporate the following : <br /> The ENGINEER will revise the current Oslo Road construction documents, which detail the <br /> construction of a 3 - lane quasi-urban roadway section, to define the construction of a 5 -lane urban <br /> roadway section. These revisions will effect approximately 1 . 2 miles of the present construction <br /> documents . The COUNTY also desires to extend the limits of the present roadway project <br /> approximately 1 , 100 feet east to tie-in to the existing 5 -lane urban roadway section immediately <br /> west of Old Dixie Highway and 1 , 000 feet west of the 20th Avenue/ Oslo Road intersection. <br /> Roadway improvements west of the 20th Avenue intersection are required to facilitate the <br /> construction of the 5 - lane urban roadway section and the ultimate build out of the intersection. <br /> The COUNTY will provide the ENGINEER with the required topographic survey to enable design <br /> of the additional 2 , 100 feet of roadway improvements . <br /> Based upon the completed construction documents, this revision will require revisions to the <br /> following plan sheets : <br /> Plan and Profile — 11 Sheets <br /> Pond Details — 2 Sheets <br /> Cross Section — 15 Sheets <br /> Signing and Marking — 5 Sheet <br /> Construction Phasing — 1 Sheet <br /> The extension of the eastern terminus will require the addition of the following plan sheets : <br /> Plan and Profile — 4 Sheets <br /> Intersection Plateau — 1 Sheet <br /> Cross Section — 5 Sheets <br /> Signing and Marking — 2 Sheets <br /> UAProjects\Oslo MAMENDA01doc <br />
