INDIAN RIVER COUNTY l - z Oslo Road Bridge Replacement And Roadway Widening AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING/LAND SURVEYING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES , INC . AND INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA. This is an amendment to the existing Engineering/Land Surveying Services Agreement (AGREEMENT) dated March 24th, 1998 between Kimley-Horn and Associates , Inc . (ENGINEER) and Indian River County (COLTNTY) . This amendment addresses changes in " Section I - Project Limits and Description" , Section H - County Obligations, " Section III - Scope of Services " , " Section V - Compensation" and " Section XVI — Duration of Agreement" of the AGREEMENT . Amendment Description This Amendment includes the following : " SECTION III — SCOPE OF SERVICES " is being modified to incorporate the following : The ENGINEER will revise the current Oslo Road construction documents to extend the 5 -laning of Oslo Road west of 20th Avenue approximately 2 , 640 feet to 27th Avenue, where the 5 -lane section will tie-in to the existing 5 -lane section associated with the eastbound approach at the Oslo Road/ 27th Avenue intersection. The County also desires several other modifications to the construction documents that consist of the following : • The County desires that the proposed sidewalk along the north side of the Oslo Road be modified to consist of a two foot utility strip in combination with an eight foot pedestrian sidewalk. • The County desires that the sub -lateral canal, located along the south side of Oslo Road, be enclosed from SW 19th Avenue to east of SW 18th Avenue . • The County desires to have a westbound right turn lane at the entrance to the Timber Ridge development. • The County desires to have a plateau intersection at Oslo Road and SW 12th Avenue to accommodate the potential future signalization of this intersection . The intersection will be designed to accommodate a future southbound left turn lane on SW 12th Avenue . • The County desires to have the corridor reviewed to determine where raised traffic separators could be installed to assist in access management along the corridor. In locations where it is applicable to have raised medians , non-irrigated landscape improvement plans will be developed. • The County desires to hold up to one public involvement meetings where the ENGINEER will participate and prepare presentation materials for the meetings .
