: - { <br /> PERMANENT PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br /> Between <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> And <br /> CLIFFORD J . SUTHARD , P . E . , PROJECT ENGINEER <br /> This agreement is made and entered into the 15th day of February , 2005 by and <br /> between Indian River County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida ("County") and <br /> Clifford J . Suthard, P .E . (hereinafter "Project Engineer") , for permanent part-time employment <br /> by the County as Project Engineer and Review Engineer for various Public Works Projects and <br /> Development Review commencing February 18 , 2005 and ending February 17 , 2007 . <br /> SECTION 1 . PROJECT ENGINEER' S DUTIES <br /> In consideration of Project Engineer' s employment by the County, Project Engineer shall <br /> devote attention to coordination and oversight of design and construction of various Public <br /> Works projects for the County and development review if needed. Project Engineer shall not <br /> engage in the compensated practice of engineering or project management except pursuant to <br /> this Agreement unless expressly authorized by the County Administrator or Public Works <br /> Director to do so . <br /> Project Engineer' s work on behalf of the County shall be under the direction of the Indian <br /> River County Public Works Director or his designee who shall determine the matters to be <br /> assigned to Project Engineer, the duties to be performed by Project Engineer, and standard of <br /> performance to be maintained. The Project Engineer shall be required to make periodic oral or <br /> written reports to the County Public Works Director or his designee or to the County <br /> Administrator, further the Project Engineer may be required to report to the Board of County <br /> Commissioners as frequently and in such form as the County Administrator or his designee <br /> directs . The Project Engineer shall work a minimum of 20 hours per week unless the Public <br /> Works Director approves less . <br /> The County will provide adequate space, personnel support and equipment that in the <br /> County Public Works Director' s opinion will provide the necessary resources for the Project <br /> Engineer to perform the required duties .
