Kratman: <br /> GeoSyntec Consultants (GeoSyntec) is pleased to submit this letter proposal to the <br /> Indian River County (IRC) Solid Waste Disposal District (SWDD) for the provision of <br /> professional services supporting the permitting of a Class I landfill expansion at the IRC <br /> Landfill (IRCL) facility located in Vero Beach, Indian River County, Florida. The <br /> proposal presents the scope of work, schedule, and budget estimate for the design and <br /> permitting services for the Class I landfill expansion. The proposal was prepared in <br /> response to a verbal request from the SWDD during an 18 April 2006 meeting at the IRCL <br /> site with Ms . Polly Kratman of SWDD and Dr. Kwasi Badu-Tweneboah, P . E . of <br /> GeoSyntec. <br /> The remainder of this proposal presents : (i) project background; (ii) proposed scope <br /> of work; (iii) schedule; and, (iv) budget estimate. <br /> PROJECT BACKGROUND <br /> The IRCL is located south of Oslo Road, west of Range Line Road (74`h Avenue) and <br /> east of Interstate 95 in Section 25, Township 33 South, Range 38 East in Indian River <br /> County, Florida. The IRCL facility is currently operating as a Class I landfill and <br /> Construction and Demolition (C&D) debris disposal facility under the Florida Department <br /> of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Operations Permit Numbers S031 -0128769-008 and <br /> S031 -0128769-009.
