Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried that the. County Engineer prepare a <br />Resolution requesting the State Road Department to extend the speed limit <br />of 45 miles per hour four -tenths of a mile north of Wabasso on U.S. -1. <br />The County Engineer submitted a cost estimate of paving the road <br />immediately north of the lake that separates the two sections of Florida <br />Ridge Subdivision. The Board instructed the Engineer to just scarify <br />the road and grade it for the present. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried, that the Beverage Department be <br />notified that the application of Philip Glaab, Glaab Sundries, for a <br />beer, package sales only, does conform to the zoning regulations of <br />Indian River County, and the application of Iveroy Brown, Gifford, Florida, <br />for a beer and wine license for the Roseland Inn located on Lots 5 and 21, <br />Espy Subdivision, does conform to the.zoning regulations of the County. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />IIaffield and unanimously carried, that Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph <br />Company be permitted to erect a tower on Tract 10, Section 3, Towhship 33 <br />South, Range 3 East. <br />'rhe.County Engineer presented a sketch from I.r. J. Austin Taylor, <br />owner of Vera Park Subdivision, with the request that the County accept <br />12th Place, 13th Street and 13th Place. Motion was made by Commissioner <br />Waddell, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, <br />that the County accept 13th Street, provided Mr. Taylor can convey clear <br />title to it and provided it is a G0' right-of-way.
