JAN e 1965 <br />4 .+ <br />J rw;,i 1O <br />The County Engineer presented the following Petition and on Motion <br />made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Haffield and <br />unanimously carried, the Petition was ordered filed, and the Clerk was <br />directed to publish a [notice of a public hearing on the petition to be <br />hold February 10, 1965 at 9:35 o'clock A. M. <br />PETITION <br />The Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, Florida <br />Vero Beach, Florida <br />Gentlemen: <br />The undersigned, CHAS. E. SMITH, Petitioner, does herewith <br />petition you to adopt a resolution closing, vacating and abolishing the public <br />road, street and right of way located in Indian River County, Florida, and <br />known as that portion of Avenue C as designated on the Plat of W. E. <br />Geoffrey's Subdivision, recorded in Plat filed in the office of the Clerk of <br />the Circuit Court of St. Lucie County, Florida, in Plat Book 2, page 32, <br />lying West of new U. S. Highway No. 1, or State Road No. 5, Section <br />88010-2208, and requests said Board to renounce and disclaim any rights <br />of the said County and the public in and to the above described public road, <br />street and right of way as delineated on said recorded plat. <br />The undersigned is the owner of the property which lies adjacent <br />to the above Avenue C, and none of the above right of way serve any land <br />other than those owned by the undersigned, and since the opening of the <br />new U.
