WIIAK 10195' <br />8001 9 0 162 <br />A letter was received and filed from M. W. (Bud) Dalrymple, <br />Dalrymple Insurance Agency, declining the insurance awarded his agency <br />at the February 10 meeting of the Board. <br />The Board discussed the disposition of the Dodge fire truck <br />transfered to the County by the City of Sebastian. It was decided to <br />temporarily store the truck at the county barn until we receive proposed <br />plans for the housing and maintenance of the truck from the Fellsmere <br />Volunteer Fire Department. The Board also instructed the Clerk to request <br />a detailed audit of the expenditures of the remittance of $100.00 sent to <br />the Fellsmere Volunteer Fire Department for fire control last year; and, <br />that in regard to the proposed County participation of $500.00 this year, <br />the Board requests the Fellsmere Volunteer Fire Department to present <br />bilis for payment direct from the County General Fund after receiving the <br />approval of the Board of all expenditures. <br />A letter was received from the Vero Beach Boat Club thanking <br />the Board for the material and labor furnished to repair the docks and <br />launching area of the boat basin. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by <br />Commiasioner Haffield and unanimously carried, that the Beverage Department <br />be notified that the application of Pearl Reynolds, Oslo Road, for a <br />beer, package sales only, license, does conform to the zoning regulations <br />of the County. <br />The County Engineer presented a copy of a letter from the <br />State Road Department directed to Commissioner Muldrew of Brevard County, <br />with regard to a request to illuminate the fishing catwalk beneath the <br />Sebastian Inlet bridge. The letter stated that no funds had been budgeted <br />for this purpose and that their operating accounts do not provide.for <br />maintenance of such illumination; therefore, the County would have to <br />adopt a Resolution authorizing the expenditure of County secondary monies <br />for this purpose. No action was taken. <br />
