The County Engineer presented ,a letter from Mr. William <br />Van Busch, owner of the North 250° of the NES of the NWS of Section <br />12, Twp 33S, Rge 39 E.,. requesting that 10th Avenue be opened and agreed <br />to furnish the County with one-half of the necessary right of way, provided <br />.the street•is opened by clearing and marl or shell laid down for traffic. <br />It was the opinion of the Board that the opening of this street would be <br />of no value to the County at this time. <br />Motion was, made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried that the County Engineer is instructed <br />to proceed with right of way acquisition on Citrus Road between 27th Avenue <br />and 43rd Avenue and to proceed with right of way acquisition for Rosewood <br />'Boulevard between Clemmans Avenue and Kings Highway. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Waddell and unanimously carried, that the County Engineer is <br />instructed to extend the paving of 6th Avenue to 10th Street. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried that the County Dngineer, the Zoning <br />Inspector and members of the Planning and Zoning and Variance Boards be <br />authorized to attend the zoning meeting in Tampa on April 7 through 10. <br />The County Engineer reported that he has not been able to <br />negotiate with Takaho Corporation on right of way on North Gifford Road <br />and recommended condemnation proceedings. Motion Was made by Commissioner <br />M cdonald, seconded by Commissioner Waddell and unanimously carried, that <br />the County Attorney and Attorney John Gould are instructed to begin <br />condemnation proceedings immediately on the Peterson property and the <br />'Takaho property on North Gifford Road. <br />,The County Engineer reported that the widening and re- <br />construction of Old Dixie Highway from 19th Street to Glendale Road is <br />second in priority to Ranch Road and on Motion by Commissioner Waddell, <br />seconded by, Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried that the County <br />get an additional 10' of right of way on Old Dixie Highway to provide two <br />traffic lanes with parking.. <br />aim �9P163 <br />� �I- 101965 <br />
