Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Waddell and unanimously carried that the Board and the Clerk are <br />authorized to execute the Corrective County Deed under application <br />nos. 13595 and 13597 to correct the legal description in a deed <br />formerly given by Indian River County to the Indian River Farms Drainage <br />District and recorded in Deed Book 58, page 143. „• <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Hatfield and unanimously carried, that the County Engineer is authorized <br />to purchase a tape recorder. <br />The County Engineer requested permission to repaint the Road <br />and Bridge offices and the Commission room. The Board. requested him <br />to bring a cost estimate to the next meeting. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Hatfield and unanimously carried that the County Attorney be requested <br />to draw up a bill giving the Board permissive power to have lots and <br />property cleared in the County. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously -carried, that, after duly advertising and <br />holding a public hearing, and there being no opposition, and there <br />being present Senator Merrill P. Barber and Representative Art Karst, <br />the Board does hereby request the Legislative delegation to introduce <br />and have passed the following bills for the benefit of the citizens <br />of IBdian River County: <br />1. An Act for the condemnation of dilapidated buildings, <br />structures, or house trailers. <br />2. An Act covering the contracting with other governmental bodies. <br />3. An Act revising the county group insurance provisions. <br />4. An Act requiring vaccination of dogs. <br />5. An Act approving lights for streets, parks, etc. <br />6. An Act to repeal a population act which set up the Supervisor <br />of Registration's salary at $6,000.00. <br />7. An Act on welfare liens, allowing the County to file a lien. <br />8.
