Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried, that the Clerk is authorized to <br />advertise for bids for air conditioners for the Parole office and <br />the Clerk's office. <br />A letter was received from the Shoup Voting Machine Corporation <br />stating that effective July 1, 1965, the selling price of the Shoup <br />Voting Machine will be increased 4%, or approximately $75.00 per <br />machine. Mr. Webber reported that according to the Supervisor of <br />Registration, the County will need 10 additional machines next year. <br />The Clerk was instructed to write the Corporation and ask if the <br />machines were ordered now for delivery in February, would the contract <br />be executed in February, at the present price. <br />The County Engineer reported that Brevard County is going to <br />illuminate the fishing catwalks on their side of the Sebastian Bridge. <br />The County Engineer was requested to get more information on installation, <br />' maintenance and operating expense. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, that the Engineer is authorized to <br />have an appraisal made on the right of way for Citrus Road between the <br />railroad and U. S. 401. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald, and unanimously carried, that Senator Barber and Representative <br />Karst, be requested to introduce an amendment to the General Act to <br />provide an increase in the salary of the County Commissioner of Indian <br />River County from $200.00 to $300.00 a month. <br />Upon Motion by. Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried, the applications of Jenny Hammel and <br />Edwin McKinney for admission to the Southeast Florida T.B.
