2.0 PRODUCTS <br /> 2 .01 EQUIPMENT AND PERSONNEL <br /> A . The CONTRACTOR will provide capable personnel and equipment to conduct the work <br /> as authorized. The work shall be performed with the equipment, which is adequate to <br /> perform all phases of the work. The CONTRACTOR shall submit information on the <br /> equipment to be used in this project as requested by the County. <br /> B . If in the opinion of the ENGINEER, the CONTRACTOR ' S equipment is not capable of <br /> satisfactorily performing the work described in these specifications, the CONTRACTOR <br /> shall substitute equipment satisfactory to the ENGINEER. <br /> C . The CONTRACTOR shall provide the services of experienced drillers and competent <br /> helpers. <br /> D . The CONTRACTOR shall coordinate with the ENGINEER and OWNER so that the <br /> project is competed in a timely manner. <br /> 3.0 EXECUTION <br /> A. The CONTRACTOR shall furnish three high quality field copies of the various <br /> geophysical logs and two copies of the video survey to the ENGINEERS immediately <br /> following logging operations. The CONTRACTOR shall deliver ten final copies prepared <br /> by the logging company to the ENGINEER prior to completion of the work. <br /> B . The CONTRACTOR shall keep a daily activity log once the work is started and until <br /> completed. The daily log will describe the nature of conditions encountered, the work <br /> done during each day, items of work accomplished, materials used during each day, the <br /> water level in the well at the beginning and end of each shift, and other pertinent data as <br /> required by the ENGINEER. The County will utilize this information to prepare reports to <br /> the appropriate regulatory agencies if required. <br /> C . After well construction activities have been completed, the well shall be thoroughly <br /> cleaned of all foreign substances, including tools, timbers, rope, debris of any kind, <br /> cement, oil , grease, joint dope and scum . <br /> D . The CONTRACTOR shall at all times keep the premises free from accumulations of <br /> waste materials caused by his employees or work and shall clean up as often as necessary <br /> and as directed by the ENGINEER. After the well testing has been completed, the site <br /> shall be cleaned up; any ditches dug should be filled in; any ditches filled shall be returned <br /> to normal ; all peripheral materials and any other imported substances shall be removed ; <br /> and the site returned to its original condition . <br /> GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> 01005 -2 <br /> CADOCUME— I \mikeh\LOCALS-1 \Temp\Temporary Directory 2 for IRC wells Div I .zipW2-1RC_GEN_REQ.D0C <br />
