• Total Iron ; Total Sulfides, Calcium , Magnesium , Total Alkalinity, specific <br /> conductivity, and turbidity. <br /> D . At the completion of the pumping test, the pump bowls and column shall not be <br /> removed from the well for a time equal to 50 percent of the total pumping time to <br /> allow accurate water level recovery measurements to be taken, or less as determined by <br /> the ENGINEER . No additional standby time or pumping time payment shall be <br /> awarded during this period. <br /> 3 .04 DISPOSAL OF WATER <br /> A . Disposal of water shall be the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR . The <br /> CONTRACTOR' s method of disposal shall follow an approved route, prevent re- <br /> circulation of discharged water into the aquifer being tested, and provide for erosion <br /> control and sedimentation along the entire flow route . <br /> B . Water may require settling to reduce turbidity prior to disposal . ENGINEER must <br /> approve methods of settling excess turbidity prior to commencing each pumping test . <br /> CONTRACTOR is responsible for meeting turbidity requirements prior to discharge <br /> water entering receiving waters. <br /> 3 . 05 WATER LEVEL ACCESS <br /> A . Access shall be provided at the wellhead for water level measurements in the well <br /> prior to and during the pumping test. <br /> 4.0 PAYMENT <br /> 4 .01 PUMP SETUP <br /> A . Payment for setup of pumping test, including furnishing, temporarily installing, and <br /> removing the pump, driver and associated discharge piping, and also described in the <br /> Measurement and Payment Section of these documents shall be made at the <br /> CONTRACTOR' s lump sum bid price for Item No . A- I 1 of the Bid Tab. Payment <br /> shall constitute full compensation for all time, materials , and equipment required to <br /> obtain, assemble, and disassemble the equipment. <br /> 4 .02 WATER QUALITY TESTING <br /> A .
