a <br />I3o rth-westerly meandering the East bank of the Indian River to its intersection with <br />the public road as declared along the North line of Government Lot Four (4) Section <br />Fifteen (15) Township Thirty-one (31) South, Range `shirty -nine (39) East, a distance of <br />approximately one half mile, said road right-of-way to be not less than Sixty (60) <br />,feet in width. <br />vie therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid out and opened a <br />County Road as above described, and we, the owners of the laxed through which said road <br />is sought to be laid out, in consideration of the sutra of One dollar to us each and <br />severally in hand paid by the said County of ]Indian River, the receipt of which is <br />hereby. acknowledged, hereby agree to give the right-of-wat through our lands, as shown <br />by the plat accompanying this petition, and relinquish all claims for damage by reason <br />thereof. <br />It was <br />ordered that <br />D.L.L,eisher; X.B.Ryall and Albert Schumann, <br />be` appointed a <br />Committee to <br />view, mark <br />and lay out: sa&d road and report to <br />this Board. <br />The following resolution was presented: <br />VMREAS on account of the stringent financial conditions existing throughout the <br />County, the inability of its citizens to pay in taxes promptly, the great demand being <br />made in charity cases, and the general unsettled conditions it is deemed expedient and <br />proper for this Board to adjust itself to the conditions mentioned above, <br />THEREFORE, be it <br />resolved, <br />that <br />the employment of a <br />county Agricultural Agent <br />be dispensed wit4or <br />the year <br />1929) <br />effective February <br />lst 1929. <br />Upon being put to a vote the same was unanimously adopted. <br />It was ordered that the County Engineer repair the will Fee road west of V11abasso <br />as soon as it is convenient for the work to be done. <br />The several bills and accounts of the County having been audited, were examined <br />and found to be correct and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same. The bills <br />and accounts being on file in the Clerk's office and made a part of these minutes. The <br />warrants issued in settlement <br />of <br />claims being <br />recorded <br />in the County Finance <br />record <br />of the County and made a part <br />of <br />these minutes <br />as fully <br />and completely as if <br />the same <br />were set out in detail, and by reference to said Finance record the warrants so listed <br />is made a part of these minutes. <br />The County Depositories filed their statements of the various funds coming under <br />their jurisdiction, showing balance, receipts, disbursements and balance at the close of <br />November, which haveing been audited were found to be correct. <br />There being no further business on motion, made, seconded and carried the Board <br />then adjourned until Tuesday, January lst 1929. <br />.
