Planned , designed and constructed by people for people , the process is enhanced when the entire team is driven to excel through a common pur- pose and commitment. This positive motivator is communication . PPI develops written scopes of work and verbally reviews them with con - tractors . As all contractors are involved in this process, the elimination , overlap or omissions of scope of work is greatly minimized . A reporting hierarchy is established by PPI within the office and field to maintain a constant line of communication with trade contractors . All issues related to cost, schedule , and quality are thoroughly documented on a daily basis . This ensures accuracy by PPI reviewing data , as required , with affected parties . Formal reviews and look ahead meetings are conducted by PPI with all contractors at minimum , on a weekly basis or more often , if required . Meetings address such issues as current plan and work in place , potential changes, critical items, quality, and safety. Cost issues are addressed sepa- rately with the individual contractors . PPI promotes the " open book " approach to project management. All our reports, analyses, data bases, etc . are available for the team to share and question . We believe that a thorough understanding of all the issues and the process used to make recommendations will enable the whole team to achieve the project goals . The PPI / Ponikvar approach to delivery of services is extraordinarily com - prehensive . Our services will begin at the planning phase of the project and we will work hand- in - hand with the Owner through commissioning and post-occupancy services .
