Our team has never missed a schedule that caused a delay in the opening of a project . We believe that a December 2005 opening of the Recreation and Multi - Purpose Building to be achievable Specific Issues Relevant to Project Scheduling Include : PRE_ CONSTRUC-: TIi_> N S ( J1EDUL1NC.; Our Project Manager and Superintendent are involved during Preconstruction to review systems and constructability of the project . By participating in this phase, they have a keen understanding of the site, construction sequencing and the durations required for each task to complete the building in a smooth , timely manner. Together, the t. Project Manager and Superintendent are responsible for generating and maintaining the project schedule throughout preconstruction and con- struction . The schedule that accompanies the GMP proposal is devel - oped by the Project Manager and Superintendent, in collaboration with the entire Design- Build Team . MAINTAINING IHE ") (A . ) ULE DURING C . C ) NSTRt1CTIC; N Communication with the trade contractors and on -site project activity is recorded daily. PPI documents the area in which each trade contractor is working , the number of workers on site , the quantity of work put in *taw place, and the site conditions . If on -site quality and safety conditions do not meet the Owner' s and PPI ' s standards, corrective action is taken immediately to remedy the situation . PPI tracks information with Primavera Suretrak Scheduling Software that is reviewed weekly on a informal basis with all trade contractors . Formal reviews cover past performance evaluations ; a two-week look ahead of the work and critical items to be put in place; the current construction plan , and a review of potential changes . This information is incorporat- ed into the overall project schedule that is reviewed and/or revised so the team maintains focus on the " big picture " aspects of the project .
