• M
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY RECREATION MULTI - PURPOSE BUILDING RFF # 6 ( e92
' DEVELOPMENT SECTION
y . y The PPI / Ponikvar Design - Build Tear ) enjoys a proven and established
track record of delivering GMP ' s on early sets of construction documents .
This process is facilitated by the fact that we have worked together in a
design build environment and are able to communicate and understand
the pricing of details and systems that have not yet been incorporated
into the drawing sets .
Previous examples of where this team has worked together either in a
design build delivery or a traditional role with an early GMP include :
• City of Gainesville Multi - Purpose Recreational Building
University of Florida - Emerson Alumni Hall • University of Florida Emerson Alumni Hall
• City of Gainesville Cone Park Recreational Facility
• Alachua County Health Department
• University of Central Florida Bookstore Renovations
Our record of cost control for these projects is excellent. For all projects
listed above . The final construction cost was at or below the original
GMP. The only times that the final project construction cost exceeded the
original GMP is when the owner increased the scope of the work due
either to receiving additional funds through grants or adding program
due to cost savings generated by the project .
PPI Construction Management ♦ Ponikvar & Associates 44
