The Chairman read the foregoing notice ano asked if anyone <br />present wished to be heard. There were rene and upon Motion by <br />Commissioner Macdonald,. seconded by Commissioner Haffield, the <br />following Resolution was adopted: <br />R.E S O L U T I O N <br />wHEREAS, the County Auditor, after tentatively as- <br />•eertaining the proposed fiscal policies of the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian Rive: County,. Florida, for the f:acal year <br />commencing on the 1st day of October, "65, and ending on the 30th day <br />p <br />of September, 1966, did prepare and present to the Board of County <br />Commissioners a tentative budget for said fiscal year for each of the <br />funds therein.as provided by law, including all estimated receipts, <br />taxes to be levied and balances expected to be brought forth and all. <br />estimated expenditures, reserves and balances to be carried over at the <br />end of.the year' and <br />WHEREAS, this Board did receive and examine said tentatative <br />budget for eacl fund and did require such.changes to be made as the <br />Board did deem necessary and the auditor's estimate of receipts other <br />been <br />than taxes not having/revised, this Board did preparea statement <br />summarizing all of the tentative budgets showing for each budget in the <br />total of all budgets the proposed tax millagas, the balances, the <br />reserves and the total of each major classification of receipts and <br />'expenditures classified according to the classification,of accounts <br />prescribed by the Comptroller of the State of Florida' and, <br />wHEREAS, this Board did cause said summary statement to be <br />advertised one time in a newspaper of general circulation published in <br />Indian River County, Florida, to -wits In the is.ue of July 22, 1965, <br />of the Vero Beach press Journal, as will more.fully appear by'proof of <br />publication thereof filed in the minutes of this Board' and,. <br />WHEREAS, this Board did meet at the time and place stated <br />in said advertisement for the purpose of hearing requests and com- <br />plaints from the. public regarding the budgets and for the purpose of <br />holding a public hearing and making whatever revisions in the budget <br />it may deem necessary' <br />BOOK 9 PACE 273 <br />AUG 4 1965 <br />
