Nov X01965 <br />800K 9 PACE 368 <br />The monthly reports of •the County'Service Officer, the County <br />Welfare Worker and the County Agent were received and placed on file. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded'by Commissioner <br />Waddell and unanimously carried that the performance bonds dcposit'ed in. <br />Escrow for clean up after moving of the buildings west afthe Courthouse <br />be released, $30.00 Alfred Fletcher and $130.00, Y. G. Lanier. <br />The Clerk submitted the Annual Financial Report which was signed <br />to be forwarded to the Comptroller's office. <br />The Clerk was instructed to write the Comptroller, the• Attorney <br />General's office and the State Auditor for an opinion as to whether or <br />not $30,000 out of the Capital Outlay Fund can be used for improvements <br />on the City Hall to accommodate the Fourth District Court.of Appeals. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried,.the petition of Edward A. Kistler <br />for admission to the Southeastern Tuberculosis Hospital was approved. <br />Commissioner Waddell moved that the Board exercise its first <br />option under the lease -purchase agreement for Lots 14,15, and 16, <br />Kansas city Colony Subdivision, and that the lease payment. of $5,7.60.00 <br />by paid; also that the County Attorney be requested to prepare a closing <br />statement on the first purchase from Mr. Fred F. Liebert and Mr. A. L. <br />Liebert for $12,000.00, and that the Clerk be authorized .to make payments <br />accordingly. Motion was seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously <br />carried. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Waddell and unanimously carried, the County agrees to pay a sum equal. <br />to 2/3 of the total cost of the construction of the second floor of <br />the City Hall and the parking lot, and reserves the right to approve <br />the final plans for the temporary quarters of the Fourth District Court <br />of Appeals. <br />The. County Welfare Worker was instructed to notify.all nursing <br />homes that,before they accept any person they expect the County to pay <br />for, they must have authorization from either the County Welfare Worker <br />or the Board of County Commissioners.. <br />0 <br />
