the County Engineer write to Mr. Parker of the Trustees of the Internal <br />Improvement Fund to check the possibility of the Trustees selling this <br />land to the County, even though we have no immediate plans for development <br />at the present time. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, that the County'Engineer be authorized <br />to advertise for bids for a portable.generat.or. <br />Commissioner Waddell reported that the Historical Society would <br />release the Erickson. Building if they be -allowed to'store some articles <br />there temporarily, and thereupon moved that the Attorney General's <br />office be offered the.•use of the Erickson Building for the two Assistant <br />Attorney Generals and their secretaries who will be assigned to the new <br />Appellate Court.. Motion was seconded' by. Commissioner Macdonald•and <br />unanimously carried.. <br />.Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and -unanimously carried, that the Beverage Department be <br />notified that the following applicat-ions,for a beer and wine, package <br />sales only, license,conform with the zoning regulations of the county: <br />Robert B. Allison for Instant Mart of Indian River, Inc. South U.S.1 and <br />15th Street; D. J;.•Hempy, Johnson's Grocery, 43rd Street" in Gifford; <br />Hilton W. Coleman, Johnson's Grocery at 33rd. Avenue and 43rd Street <br />and, further,- that•the application of Ragan Kline, for a whisky package <br />sales license for Klines Package Goods at Oslo Road and U.S. #1 be' <br />delayed and that the. County Attorney be requested to determine whether <br />or not the School of the Novitiates is, for zoning purposes, a church, <br />or a school, if either. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried that the County Attorney prepare a <br />proper Resolution'thanking the Governor, the Cabinet and the Justices <br />of the Supreme Court of Florida for selecting Vero Beach as the site <br />for the new Fourth District'Court of Appeals and our offer to cooperate <br />fully with. this Court, <br />BOOK 9 PACE 365 <br />NOV 10.1965 <br />
