NOV 10 1965 <br />BOOX 9 PAGE 36 4 <br />Upon Motion by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried, the County Engineer was authorized <br />to purchase the following parcels of right-of-way: <br />1. Frank Van Antwerp, North Winter Beach Road, $900.00 <br />2, Henry Prange, North Winter Beach, Road, •$500.00 <br />3. Mrs. Eli Walker, Glendale Road. $750.00 <br />Commissioner Waddell moved that payment of $500,00 be made <br />to Mr. J. R. Graves for right-of-way on the north side of North Winter <br />Beach Road between Rangeline and Ranch Road, provided that the Engineer <br />and Mr. Graves agree on specific accesses to be built prior to the <br />exercising of .the agreement. The Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried. <br />The County Engineer reported that work had been completed on <br />Unit #1 of Vero Beach Highlands and that General Development Corporation <br />had requested that the $25,000 performance bond be released. Motion <br />was made by Commissioner. Waddell, seconded by Commissioner McCullers <br />and unanimously carried, that the bond be released. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, the following out -of -county travel <br />was authorized: the County Engineer to Pensacola on December 9 to <br />.attend a conference of coastal county engineers; a trip to West Palm . <br />Beach by the County Engineer. and Foreman Eugene Hamilton to view the <br />sanitary land fill operation;.the County Engineer and Commissioner <br />Waddell to attend a meeting of the Board.of Directors of State Association <br />of County Commissioners in Gainesville on December 4 and '5; and. the <br />County Engineer, Commissioner Waddell, Mr. Luke Blume and Honorable <br />Merrill P. Barber to attend a Regional Planning Council meeting in <br />Titusville on November 17. <br />The County Engineer reported that Mr. Van Ausdale, President <br />of Hobart Brothers, Inc. had said that they will soon release an <br />80 acre parcel of land leased from the State and wondered if the <br />County would be interested in it. Motion was made by Commissioner <br />Waddell, seconded by Commissioner McCullets and unanimously carried <br />
