On Motion by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Waddell and unanimously carried, the following out -of -county travel <br />by Forrest N. McCullars, County Agent,. was approved: November 16-17, <br />Belle Glade; November 26-27, Tampa, and December 7-8 Belle Glade. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Haffield and unanimously carried, the appointment of Albert R. Ryall, <br />as a Deputy Sheriff of Indian River County, was approved. <br />Commissioner Waddell moved, seconded by Commissioner Haffield <br />and unanimously carried, that the Courthouse be closed on Friday. <br />December 24, 1965. <br />The Deputy Clerk presented a letter from City Manager John <br />Dumars, requesting the County Commission to participate in the emergency <br />fund of $1,650 to acquire office furniture for the temporary quarters of <br />the Fourth District Court of Appeals. These quarters are to be in <br />the Dudley Lock Company building. Commissioner Waddell reported that. <br />this equipment is being leased, not purchased. Action on the. <br />request was delayed until an opinion is received from the Attorney <br />General.. <br />A copy of a Resolution adopted by the City Council of Fellsmere <br />was received, wherein the City Council of Fellsmere has recommended to <br />the State Road Department that the lawful speed on State Road 507 <br />(North Road), from the Fellsmere City limits to the North County line <br />of Indian River County, be changed to forty-five (45 MPH) miles per hour. <br />The County Engineer reported that the Zoning Board has <br />tentatively recommended to the Board of County Commissioners that <br />the area lying between the West shore of the Indian River and. 10.0' <br />east of the centerline of the proposed Indian River Boulevard and <br />'from a line 330' north and parallel to the north leg of the Old <br />Winter Beach Bridge Road to the south line of the Hobart property <br />which lies approximately 600' north of the north. line of Section 3, <br />BOOK <br />Nov 2.41965 <br />
