The CONTRACTOR shall continually monitor the NOAA marine weather broadcasts, and avail themselves of such other local commercial weather forecasting services as may be available. 42. LOCAL INFORMATION 42. 1 Weather Conditions. The project area may be affected by tropical storms and hurricanes primarily from June through November, and by windy and/or rainy weather, including severe electrical storms, during any time of the year. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for obtaining information concerning rain, wind and wave conditions that could influence dredging and disposal operations prior to making a bid.
