On Motion by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Haffield, the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, the following Resolution was <br />passed and adoptedt <br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners in and for <br />Indian River County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, as <br />follows: <br />1. That the Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian <br />River County does hereby contract and agree to enter into an agreement <br />designated as Supplement No. II to Agreement dated April ],.4, 1928, with^ <br />the Florida East Coast Railway Company wherein and whereby said Board of <br />County Commissioners will share equally with the Railway the expense for <br />maintaining crossing timbers and maintaining and operating automatic crossing <br />signal protection at West Wabasso Road Crossing, Railway's Mile Post 219 <br />plus 3,059 feet, as described in said Supplement No. II attached hereto and <br />made a part hereof.. <br />2. That the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners in <br />and for Indian River County, with the attestation of the clerk of said board, <br />be and they'hereby are each authorized and directed to execute said agreement <br />for and on behalf of said Indian River County. <br />3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its <br />,passage. <br />Rev. Gene Price of the Tabernacle Baptist Church stated <br />that they had obtained a building permit for the construction of a <br />Church at 6th Avenue and Old Dixie Highway and have allowed a set back <br />of twenty feet, but now find that this is not enough. .The Board approved <br />the issuance of a building permit whereby the set back is thirty-five <br />feet from the edge of the property line on 6th Avenue, or fifty feet <br />from the centerline of the existing pavement. <br />DEC 8 1965 <br />
