A review of the information and drawings <br />provided shows the proposed -work is to.install 0.22 acre of rip <br />rap within Indian River Farms Water Control District (IRFWCD) <br />43rd Avenue Canal and B-6 Canal to stabilize the canal banks <br />adjacent to a new bridge crossing. The project is located at <br />the intersection of 43rd Avenue at 5th Street SW, within, the <br />IRFWCD 43rd Avenue and B-6 Canals, in Vero Beach, in Section 22, <br />Township 32 South, Range 39 East in Indian River County, <br />Florida. <br />The bridge portion of your project as proposed will not <br />require.a Department of the Army permit in accordance with <br />Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 as it is <br />considered a bridge and, therefore, is under the regulatory <br />jurisdiction of the U.S. Coast Guard. Provided the work is done <br />in accordance with the. enclosed drawings, Department of the Army <br />authorization will not be required for the bridge. <br />Your project, as depicted on the enclosed drawings, is <br />authorized by Nationwide Permit (NWP) Number 13. In addition, <br />project specific conditions have been enclosed. This <br />verification is valid until July 24, 2009.
