The County Engineer announced that he had applied for and <br />received a scholarship to Yale and would like to have a leave of <br />absence for nine months to a year to further his engineering education. <br />MOTION was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried, that the County. Engineer be authorized <br />to have a leave of absence, beginning September 1, 1966, for this period <br />of time. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Waddell and unanimously carried, that this Board formerly <br />accept a tanker, Title No. 4900236 from Earman Oil Company and the <br />same to be insured by the County. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by <br />Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, that bond be approved <br />for Anne Garrison in the County Engineer's Office, <br />Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Haffield and unanimously carried, that the Commissioners <br />and members of the Regional Planning Council be authorized to attend <br />a Regional Council meeting in Orlando on April 13 and a Regional Council <br />meeting in Titusville on April 14, 1966. <br />The County Engineer presented a letter from Swords -Brothers <br />McDougal Co., Inc,, stating that they will fulfill the balance of <br />their contract for asphalt for the period ending August 31, 1966. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Haffield, seconded by <br />Commissioner Waddell and unanimously carried, that Commissioner <br />Macdonald be authorized to attend a Regional Council meeting in <br />Titusville on April 28, a meeting in Sarasota on mental health on <br />April 21 to 23 and that all commissioners be authorized to go to <br />NACO meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 17 to 20, 1966. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner Waddell and unanimously carried that the per diem expenses <br />for a representative of State Park Board for state park survey, be <br />approved. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner Waddell and unanimously carried, that the following <br />election officials be approved. <br />APR'! <br />• <br />m 9 eAcE 57I <br />
