Lauderdale, Florida - <br />Dear Sir: <br />VERO BEACH, FLORIDA <br />.May 9, 1966 <br />We hereby submit for your approval a suggested list of roads <br />for our proposed $500,000 loan under the Secondary Trust Fund. <br />It is our understanding that this program must be approved for, <br />alignment, right of way width and estimated costs. <br />1. The purchase of 80' of rights of way for the Wabasso <br />Bridge approach from U. S. #1 to the West Shore of <br />the Indian River, an approximate distance of 0.5 mile <br />at an approximate cost of $50,000. The alignment of <br />this project has been approved by the State Road <br />Department. <br />2.. The purchase of a minimum of 60' of rights of way for <br />the Old Dixie Highway from 19th Street to 14th Avenue <br />and 80' of rights of way from 14th Avenue to Glendale <br />Road, SR 612, a distance of 1.5 miles at an approximate <br />cost of $40,000. The centerline of this project atthe <br />north end has been approved by the Board of County <br />Commissioners and the Vero Beach City Council. Tentative <br />approval has been given to construct a drainage ditch for <br />this project which will; empty into the Indian River Farms <br />Drainage District canal. This proposed project is a <br />municipal type section from 19th Street to 14th Avenue. <br />The remaining portion to be a 24' pavement with open <br />Swale ditches with perhaps right and left turn lanes at a <br />few intersections. <br />3. The purchaseof variable widths of rights of way for Route <br />60, from the Florida East Coast Railway to the proposed <br />MAX 11 1966 <br />
